
Services
CAAG offers a wide range of services for the benefit of people who are deaf or
hard of hearing. We provide certified Sign Language Interpreters, CART,
Captioning, Video Relay and Video Remote Interpreting Services. We are
also proud to administer a number of state funded programs that are for the
benefit of all Texas residents who are deaf or hard of hearing.

- Sign Language Interpreters -
we provide Certified
Texas BEI Levels I through V, RID and NAD ASL Interpreters that are ready for a
variety of assignments. We offer quality services in Educational, Medical,
Judicial and other settings where communication access needs are critical.
- Video Relay Services -
working in partnership with
CSDVRS
we staff multiple state-wide call centers with the most highly qualified
state and nationally certified interpreters providing Video Relay interpreting
services.
- Video Remote Interpreting Services -
our newest
service offering provides you with a virtual interpreter. Through the use
of the latest technology in video conferencing equipment we are able to securely
place the interpreter or CART provider at your site over the internet.
- CPrint or CART Services -
Computer assisted real-time
translation services are available for those who do not use sign language but
still require interpretive assistance.
- Specialized Telecommunications Assistance Program -
providing persons with disabilities access to assistive telecommunications
devices under a program funded by Texas DARS, Office for Deaf and Harding of
Hearing Services. We provide a centrally located equipment demonstration
rooms for these services in several locations throughout Texas.
- Hearing Loss Resource Program -
a program designed to eliminate communication barriers and to facilitate
communication access through projects to expand or otherwise improve the
provision of service to individuals who are hard of hearing, late deafened or
oral deaf. This program is funded through Texas DARS, Office for Deaf and
Hard of Hearing Services.
- Deafness Resource Specialist Program -
resources for advocacy of equal communication access for
people who are deaf. This program is also funded through TX DARS, Office
for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services.
- Community Awareness and Education -
we offer a variety of workshops and training sessions to
better equip you or your staff in in dealing with hearing loss in the workplace.

Professional Development -
we offer
on-going education/training to interpreters based on self and consumer stated
needs. Training opportunities are offered to staff interpreters and to
independent contractors on a variety of topics. CAAG is an Approved
Sponsor of RID CEUs.
